New website!

We're in the process of launching our brand-new website. While most of the website looks the same to you, it's run on an entirely new platform for the librarians to manage. We will probably have some hurdles to overcome in the next few weeks and our website may be dusty for a few days. Please be patient with us!

New Fine Rate and Increase in Printing Fees

Effective November 1,2010, black & white prints and copies will increase to 15 cents per page.

Fines for books, CDs, Audiobooks, and magazines will increase to 15 cents per day. DVD and Multimedia fines will remain $2.00 per day.

Starting January 1,2011, there will be a $3.00 charge for OCLC requests.

Melrose Park Library Youth Services Department Receives Grant from Target for the Reading Takes You Places storytime series

The Youth Services department announced a partnership with Target® in recognition of its efforts in early literacy education. The grant will allow us to obtain materials to make our storytimes more interactive and exciting with story-telling props, craft supplies, books, and family-friendly seating.
