Join us as we show the 2007 movie based on Katherine Peterson's bestselling novel about the life of a ten-year-old boy in rural Virginia and his friendship with a newcomer who subsequently meets an untimely death trying to reach their hideaway, Terabithia, during a storm.

Banned Books Week: September 21-27, 2014

Celebrate the freedom to read with the Melrose Park Public Library as we show films based on banned or challenged books every day of the week from September 22 to September 26. Banned Books Week is a nationwide effort to draw attention to the harms of censorship. What: The Melrose Park Public Library will be holding our first ever Salsa Contest at the End of the Summer Reading Party. Contest winners may win a $25 gift certificate to Carnitas Don Alfredo to be used at any of their three locations.
